December's #DitchSummit

The Ditch That Textbook Digital Summit is a nine-day, FREE virtual event in December. It brings together some of the brightest minds in education to discuss technology, pedagogy and more. After the 2016 #DitchSummit, I chose to read the book by Matt Miller during the fall of 2017.  I completed all nine  sessions of the 2017 #DitchSummit and have continued learning via connections on Twitter made during this summit.

Here is the list of excellent presenters. I encourage you to search for some of their free online content regarding how they are revolutionizing education:

Tanya Avrith and Holly Clark - Combining Tech and Solid Teaching Effectively

Kim Strobel - The Science of Happiness

Dr. Pooja Agarwal - Brain-Friendly Learning that Works

Eric Curts - How in the Google Did You Do That?

Sarah Thomas - How to Learn from a World of Educators

Jon Corippo - Plan Smarter, Not Harder with Edu-Protocols

Michael Matera - How to Make Learning a Game

Matt Miller - Chromebook Crash Course: What You NEED

Don Wettrick - What Schools Can Learn from Start-Up Culture
